I was super pants last month and didn't post a large amount towards the end, and then I realised that I hadn't done a post on January and now its March and I am a terrible blogger. Feel free to judge me, I wouldn't blame you! I didn't actually take a whole lot of photos in January, but February there was a lot more so I thought I'd do the two together.


I tried to cram in as many photos as I possibly could without making it look to messy, there were so many more photos that I wanted to include but this post would end up being way to long and I don't want to bore you all with my life story!

The first photo is of the beautiful flowers that Adam got me for Valentines day, he'd taken note the month before that lilies are some of my favourite flowers. The man did good! Then he took me out that evening for some amazing food at Chiquitos, and the second photo is of some of the cocktails we decided to get with our meals and the vodka and raspberry one that I had was probably one of the best things I have EVER DRUNK IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, I miss that drink.
I went out for a Costa catch up with one of my favourite females in the world and we literally just sat chilled, talked and laughed the whole day and it was just lovely being able to catch up with her as we don't get to see much of each other but when we do it's like nothing has changed. My closest friends and I went out for a meal and then went back to Adam's flat and had a few drinks and played cards against humanity (if you haven't played it yet and you have a messed up sense of humor then I recommend it!) and it was a really fun and brilliant night.
I also got my new camera in February and it is so amazing, I can't wait to go out and give it a spin, I'm genuinely craving some sort of day out or occasion so I can use it!
Lastly, in January my 2 best friends finally gave birth to my absolutely beautiful god son/ surrogate nephew. I've covered his face up because he's only a little baby and I'm not going to post his face on my blog so you'll all have to take my word for it when I say he is the most stunning little angel in the whole world. I'm head over heels in-love with him and so proud of my friends.

So that's all you really need to know about my last few months, how were your January and February?

Tomorrow I'll be on blogmas day 15, so I've technically caught up in my own messed up crazy way. I hope it's not been too confusing for any of you! So after the amazing night at the BBC music awards we were unsure of what we wanted to do for the last few hours we had in London and eventually we settled on going to winter wonderland which I've been super excited to do for a while.

Well, I knew we'd reach this sooner or later. I didn't do blogmas yesterday and I am very very sorry, but it was expected after my works christmas party. I know what you're thinking "Ashleigh, why did you not just plan ahead and schedule one" and the answer is because I'm not so smart, thats why.

Anyway, Friday night was my works christmas party and it was absolutely brilliant. I drank too much, danced a lot and laughed a lot and had some great chats with some great people so it was a really awesome night. I have also managed to some how get a lump/bruise on my head which hurts a lot and this is why you should never drink without being safe and thinking about what you're doing, if you are sensible then good for you (not that I can preach to the choir at all). Anyway it was super good and I wish I could go back to it! I spent yesterday however, feeling very sorry for myself and watching LOST for about 7 hours. If you've never watched lost, you are missing out because it is so good and Adam and I are obsessed with it. We watched so much of it yesterday we both had lost related dreams last night.

Today, I've managed to buy a few more christmas presents for Adam and my mum and so soon I'll be done! I'm so happy with how I've done this christmas, I usually don't have enough time or money to get people more than one (pretty pants) gift and so this year I've managed to get some great presents and I can't wait to give certain people their gifts.

I also only have a 3 day week this week, because Adam and I are off to London Thursday and Friday and going to the BBC music award and I am so excited I'm going to vom BECAUSE I GET TO SEE GEORGE EZRA AND CLEAN BANDIT AND I CAN'T COPE. So I will try to keep up the best I can, but please be patient with me xoxox.

I shall end this post with a selfie I took just as I was getting fairly tipsy whilst playing drinking games, which I was losing at fairly badly.
 

I actually missed last month which I'm absolutely gutted about, but unfortunately I didn't take enough photos for it to actually be worth a post. I am back for the month of October luckily though so lets crack on!
Towards the beginning of the month Adam and I went to watch Jon Richardson live at Ipswich Regent and he was honestly really really good. He's quirky and fun, yet miserable at the same time and I love it! He just seems like my perfect type of friend, he was always interacting with the audience and the stories he tells and the accents he does are just so funny.
I ended up getting a bit ill in October and Adam turned up with the most beautiful bunch of flowers, so that made me feel better.
I've been having a bit of a hard time recently with my mental health, I'm not planning on going into detail anytime soon. However, when I saw this quote on tumblr it really spoke to me and just made me feel a bit better about my situation so I wanted to share it with any who is or has been struggling.
Recently me and Adam have become smoothie OBSESSED and there is nothing better then having a smoothie when you have a hangover, especially if you're like me and seriously struggle to eat food.
Also included is a stunning sunrise, because if you don't enjoy sunrises or sunsets then you are wrong.
Lastly, Adam and I went up to Liverpool to visit my family and we took my little cousin trick or treating with my auntie and she was so excited it was really lovely and as you can see she is clearly very impressed with the 2/3 bags of sweets that she got.

So October was a fairly good month for me, what was your favourite thing to happen in October?

With August being my birthday month it has been a very VERY hectic time, so I haven't posted for quite a while again unfortunately. I'm sorry to everyone who actually keeps up with my blog I feel super super happy! So what better way to kick start my blogging life then some of my favourite music that I've been listening to at the moment. George Ezra is probably one of my absolute favourite artists right now, his voice is so stunning and full of soul and I genuinely see him getting really big in the music world. Obviously Troye is on here because his single is actually so much better than I thought it would be! He has such a huge fan base that I didn't know whether people were being honest about the music or just because they love Troye, and I was so so impressed with the single and I keep finding myself singing along to it.

The second video is one of my absolute favourites, its all about how women are told to dress and act in a certain way. When actually we should all look, feel, behave and act however we want to and they highlight this in their video by talking about us acting like 'monsters' instead of acting how everyone expects us to act. My favourite thing about this video is how towards the end they specify if a women wants to cover up or show off her body it should be her own choice and she should not be judged or victimised for that in any way shape or form.

 I don't have a lot of pictures from my childhood, my mum mainly has them. I have a few and these are some of my favourites that I picked out of my box, how hilarious was I?! Me and a friend have just said by looking at these photos you can actually see I've never been a normal person in my life. I just find that I was a bit of an ugly kid, but cute ugly if that makes any sense; especially the bottom one look at the little smooshy face!















 These are a few bits from my school years that stood out the most; at the top is the card I received when I did my work experience at school. I got to go and help teach kids which is something I've always been VERY passionate about and I can honestly say I've never enjoyed myself more then when I was working with those kids. This one particular class I got very attached to and I came into the classroom and they gave me this card and some chocolate and I honestly stood and cried because I was so touched (they were all very confused). The second photo is from my prom, I can honestly say I hated prom but that was my personal opinion! This was my ticket and corsage from the night. At the bottom when before I went to high school we all got to make these little booklets and it just makes me laugh reading through them because the comments are just such a giggle!
























At the top is a little perfume bottle that my mum brought me back from her honeymoon to Prague and I love it because it's just so beautiful and it's one thing I see myself keeping until I die, maybe I'll even pass it down. It's not financially valuable, but personally it means a hell of a lot! The second is a letter that I received when I was younger from someone who was very important in my life, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever received and one day when I was extremely emotional over something I actually ripped up the whole letter and regretted it immediately. I gathered up all the pieces and put them back in the envelope and they are still in there to this day! (I luckily didn't rip the drawing with it thank GOD) although it's all in the past, I still like to keep the letter as it means a lot to me. In the next photo is one of the first presents my younger sister ever chose for me herself; there doesn't really need to be an explanation as to why that's special. Lastly is a picture I have of my uncle who my family unfortunately lost a few years back, I'd experienced loss and death before this but this hit me especially hard and I honestly still struggle a lot of the time with it now, but that's life for you.
