Here are some of the songs that I've been obsessing over this month, there's a mixed bag of different types of music but they are all just as good as one another. I literally cannot stop singing to Nick Jonas, the Jonas Brothers were like my guilty pleasure when I was younger and he's still just as good. Please don't judge me. Also everyone has heard take me to church by now, but if you haven't heard any of his other stuff then you should check it out because the man is a musical genius.
What songs have you loved this month?
Here are some of my favourite songs from the month of February, I personally feel like there are some new amazing artists and songs coming out this year and that makes me so excited. February has been very similar to January in that it has all been up in the air and manic but things are slowly staring to calm down and I'll hopefully be able to blog a lot more in the coming weeks!
Well here we are, back right where we started. I'm kidding obviously, but I'm excited to start posting these posts again. I love sharing music with people, so it's probably one of my favourite posts to do. So let's get started with the songs I cannot stop listening to!
Kanye West is hands down one of my favourite artists, I don't care if you agree with me or not. I think he's absolutely brilliant and extremely talented, and the fact that this song is about his mum and Nori just makes me want to well up. You may not like him as a person, but he clearly adored his mum a hell of a lot and loves North and Kim more than anything and I think it's lovely.
Echosmith are a beautiful band, their song surround you makes me feel all work inside. However, this month I can't stop playing this song; I want to be a cool kid.
I have well and officially jumped on the Taylor Swift band wagon, I have always found her songs catchy but I've never been an open fan of hers. The more I listen to her newer stuff and just watch her in general, she is so dorky and quirky and I bloody love her for it! The whole *no it's Becky* joke from tumblr is one of my favourite things ever.
Lastly, there is pvris. Who is such an awesome band, they just make me want to kick some serious ass. This song is especially cool and you should also check out their album White Noise, I'm also developing some pretty big feelings for the lead singer Lyndsey.
It's the last music to my ears post of 2014, how sad. Although I love doing these posts so it's definitely going to be back in 2015 don't you worry your pretty little heads (not that you're probably worried at all). Here are some songs that I've been constantly playing on repeat this month and will probably carry on playing. I hope you have all had a wonderful 2014 filled with music and I hope that 2015 is exactly the same for you! xoxo
If you haven't heard, Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe has recently come together with genius of a director that is Nicolas Winding Refn to redo the music to the film drive (which is one of my favourite films). When myself and my boyfriend heard about this, we were both so excited because; we love drive, we love radio 1 and Zane Lowe, and we love all of the artists that they decided to use and I love Ryan Gosling so it was a win win experience. If you haven't watched Drive then watch the original or the radio 1 version because it is such a dark but BEAUTIFULLY shot film, top marks Refn. Anyway, everyone was raving about the 1975 song, but for me the winners were Bastille. As you can hear from this song, it is clear why. When I watched Divergent when it first came out, this song stuck out most to me and I've rekindled my love for it! Then of course there is clean bandit, who are always fab.
Also, just as a cheeky shout out. A pal of mine Ross makes house, dance and EDM mixes and DJing and is super super talented. I personally think that his mixes are fab and I would be the first to say if they were terrible because I'm a douche. Whether you're into dance music or not it's definitely worth checking out because you may find something new that you love and who doesn't love that?! Also it's the perfect type of track to play this Christmas if you're getting ready for a night out for a Christmas party or throwing a new years eve party, so give it a go! Click the link Here

I also recently reached 100 followers on bloglovin, thank you all SO MUCH. I am so thankful to all of you that actually take time out of your day to read what I write, it chokes me up people actually enjoy what I write. So thanks to you all, you're all fabulous and I love you xoxox
Adam Levine has and always will give me shivers. I cannot explain the burning love that I have for Maroon 5, I have loved them since I was about 7/8 and the fact that he is now going to be in a film gives me so much joy I want to punch myself in the head. They recently released this song "lost stars" from his new film Begin Again, this is actually the acoustic version. I knew I'd adore this one because his voice would be raw and beautiful and I was so write. I LOVE MAROON 5 AND I AM NOT ASHAMED. The only thing is it isn't the full version, boo.
The TV show Sunday Brunch always plays the clip of a song before and after an advert. This was on hear a few weeks ago before it got huge and oh my god, how amazing is Sia's voice?! It's so full of emotion and she's got a serious set of pipes on her. The dancer in the video is amazing and I can't believe she's only 11, I wasn't that cool at 11. There isn't anything about this song or this video that I don't like.
I've got to admit I've never really been into the Ed Sheeran hype, I think he comes across like a nice guy but I've always just been a bit 'meh' about him. I thought I'd give his new album a listen just to have a look what the fuss about and oh my god it's so good! I found a lot of his old stuff was really same-y, this album he's actually done a range of stuff and shown his range which has really impressed me. This is probably one of my favourite songs on the album and I also really love Don't. The fact they film this video at different places is a really nice touch as well.
I've still not seen the fault in our stars, and I know it's going to emotionally ruin me. The soundtrack to the film is equally beautiful and Birdy has contributed with some really special songs. This song and her song Tee Shirt fill me with all the feels physically possible.
This is a song I really didn't expect to like, there is anything over amazing about it but oh good god is it catchy. I find myself belting it out seriously loud, I am apparently a one (wo)man band. I personally think I give them a run for their money, no in all seriousness it's an okay song but is very catchy and just really fun as well.
what songs are you loving this month?
I realised I hadn't actually posted a music post yet this month, shocking behaviour as it's usually the first post I plan and post in a month. Anyway I'll get on with it as I'm sure you don't want me to ramble!
I really love Charlie Simpson, back in his busted era I didn't think a lot of him and didn't really like him. I was obviously a child at the time and now as an adult I absolutely love him; his music is like soup for the soul. He has a beautiful voice and all his songs are absolutely faultless, his new album is out in August so it will be a little birthday present to myself I feel. I think he was extremely clever to leave busted when he did and establish himself and he's done such a cracking job with it as well!
Sam Smith is really taking the music world by storm this year so far, he has such a powerful soulful voice and from watching him in interviews he seems like such a sweet genuine guy which is always a bonus. This song is absolutely beautiful and I love how the lyrics aren't your typical love song, its a bit different and that's what I like about it! This is the stripped down version and it is SO much better, I'm also yet to hear a cover I think meets the standard of this.
About two weeks ago, there was a night I decided to spend about 4 hours watching everything Jimmy Fallon related. I know he isn't everybody's cup of tea but I find his really funny, I just want to be his friend. Anyway, he did a lip- synch battle with Emma Stone (another person I love) and the two songs she chose were perfect and so different to one another HOOK by blues traveler, I've never heard and I'm also really obsessed with that right now and you should check it out! However, all I do is win is a song that I recognised for some reason and I have no idea why but I just keep listening to it constantly!
London Grammar seem to be regulars on my music posts, but who can blame me? They are fast becoming one of my all time favourite bands. I literally crave to see them live and as soon as I found out they were playing at Radio 1's big weekend I knew it was going to be fabulous and they really didn't disappoint. This is just one of the songs they had for their set and it shows how mesmerizing they really are live, I was shocked at how faultless it was. There was no different to the recorded sound-track and it was just amazing.
I've never been a huge fan of Ariana Grande, and I don't know if I will be again. However, saying that this song is so so catchy it hurts. I just keep playing it and singing it repeatedly, and who doesn't enjoy a bit of Iggy?!
Oh George Ezra, you beautiful beautiful man. His voice is great, this video is great, he is great and I can't wait to hear more from him. I'm very excited for him and what he has up his sleeve, he's a wonderful musical cookie.
When I first read this was a mix of Lana Del Rey and Kanye West, I just thought; "two musicians I love but with different music, this cannot work can it?!" and it totally totally does and I absolutely love. It doesn't try too hard to make a huge remix of it and that's what I like, they just mix the two songs together and keep it simple and fresh.
I adore the weeknd, I think they are so under-rated and deserve much more credit then they actually get. I hope one day I see them live because they are just so amazingly talented, I think this cover of drunk in love is so impressive and I just keep listening to it on repeat because his voice and their music is just so gorgeous. If you haven't listened to the weeknd I would check them out if I were you!
London Grammer are a band that I'm super obsessed with at the moment, they make everything they do sound so hauntingly beautiful. This was released on their YouTube the other week and I just sit and listen to it whilst doing nothing else, they are the type of band that are great to just sit and really listen to.
Haim are another band that I'm really big on at the moment, I love their music and I just love them in general as well. They just come across as really down to earth and effortlessly cool, I want to be the fourth member but unfortunately they are sisters so I think that minimizes any chance I ever had... All of there songs are so upbeat and fab, this is one I'm especially loving right now.
I am a very big Game of Thrones fan, and on the episode "the purple wedding" during the actual wedding a 10 second snippet of this song was played and I was instantly hooked. I had to get my boyfriend to shazam it for me and everything, I needed to listen to it that much. I can't say I was overly surprised when I found out it was Sigur Ros. I've listened to a lot of their music in the past, and although this isn't to everyone's taste I absolutely love it and just keep playing it on repeat. It is just so beautiful!
I have such a huge crush on Paolo Nutini's voice, it's so gorgeous and makes me feel all warm and gooey inside. I really enjoyed his old albums and so as soon as I saw he'd released a new album I had to rush and listen to it, and I was not disappointed! A few songs I wasn't in love with, some I really enjoyed but this has to be my absolute favourite song on the album. Such a beauty!
Vampire weekend is another great band and this song is just an ultimate happy summer song. I've already had it on repeat for about a week and I don't see myself getting sick of it anytime soon. If you're just lazing in the sun, this is definitely a song to listen to.
I love Wilkinson, there is literally not even one song by him that I don't like. Everything that he does just makes me want to dance and party and this song is no exception. I hope this song gets bigger this year, because afterglow was such a great song for last year and I feel this could be just as big.
I've been listening to this song a lot for about a month now and I'm still not bored by it in anyway, so it must be doing something right!
Now the final song I've chosen is by good old Paloma Faith. I LOVE this woman, she is absolutely fabulous and doesn't care what people think of her. She always looks effortlessly stunning and he voice is just unbelievable. I think she's actually quite underrated in the music industry, apart from a few songs that get over played. I wish her less known songs were discovered, because she really is an amazing artist. This song makes me get a little choked up, I love it that much!
Well hello there! I love doing these posts because I literally find new music every week and if you're like me then music just makes you feel so much better, so here's another little post for you with some songs I'm loving at the moment.
This is seriously one of my favourite songs at the moment, Mike's voice is just so wonderfully acoustic and it makes me feel all warm and lovely inside. The lyrics to this song are just so perfect and I just keep listening to it on repeat because it's so pretty!
I've always really liked chase & status and I loved this ages ago and I heard this when I went out to see Sub Focus the other weekend and the love just came flooding back for it and it just makes me want to go out and party with all my friends. So whats not to like?
This is another one I loved years ago and recently heard on the radio, I'm not usually a big fan of kiss but as soon as this came on I think I liked them a little bit... This was actually on the first Bridget Jones film and I can still picture the scene (I'm basically becoming Bridget Jones-minus the smoking) and also who remembers Craig David? Whatever happened to him? That guy had some tunes.
I've always been a big fan of sleeping at last and I think they cover this song beautifully. I prefer it over the original (I hate the original SORRY NOT SORRY), I think this version adds a lot more meaning to the lyrics.
I actually shared Hozier in one of my previous music to my ears posts and my love is still going strong, at the moment I really like this song the instruments and the singing just make it all absolutely beautiful. I sit at night with some candles going and just lay listening to this!
So that's it, a few little songs that I love at the moment and that I hope you love as well!

I did a post like this the other month and really enjoyed sharing some of the music I'm loving at the moment with you guys, so I thought I'd do it again just because I love sharing music with people. I think music is one of the best things in the world and so before I start rambling here is some stuff that I adore right now!
This song is called "stay alive" and it's by Jose Gonzalez, it's actually on the soundtrack for the newly released film 'The secret life of Walter Mitty' which I haven't seen yet (boo!) but this song is just so beautiful and uplifting and if you're having a bit of a down day, check out this song. It's just a really really nice song!
I love Childish Gambino, he is seriously a really awesome rapper and I feel that 2014 is going to be his year! 3005 is such a tune and I just sit in my room and rap/sing it to myself, slightly embarrassing but no shame because it is so good. If you like it you should absolutely check out his other stuff; I recommend 'you see me' and 'the worst guys'.
This song is by hozier and I honestly, I can't even explain the love that I have for this song. I can't get bored of it, I listen to it about 20 times in a day. Andrew's voice makes me feel all fluttery and warm inside (he is also so beautiful that I want to cry) and it's just an amazing song I LOVE IT SO MUCH YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE LOVE.
I'm not even going to explain this one, I just love this song so much. Rick Ross is so cool, no shame. If you have a problem with explicit language PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS, there is a lot of swearing in it so if you listen and you're disgusted then on your own head be it, I have warned you!
In all honesty, I really don't like Jake Bugg. I'm sorry if you're a huge fan of him, but I just don't like his songs and I think as a person in the media he comes across a very petty little boy (I could be completely wrong, but this is my perception). HOWEVER, this song I actually really really love and I think if he did more stuff like this I would probably like him a lot more. His more 'over-played' songs I just really don't like, if you're a Jake Bugg fan and you know other songs of his like this then please let me know!
I hope you lovely people enjoy this music as much as I do! If you have any songs that you think I might like then PLEASE send them to me, I love all music so don't worry about what genre it is!

As I've been an absolutely SHOCKING beauty blogger recently, I thought I'd do another quick post just on some of my favourite songs in general and at the moment! I'm a real lover of music, I love it all and just think its amazing and can make you feel so many emotions!
I really love the band Daughter, and if you haven't heard them you should really check them out! Their song run is one of my favourites and I recently came across this remix of their song and I seriously cannot stop listening to it, it's just too good!
Okay so I decided to use this video instead of Kanye's official video simply because the actual video is a little bit weird, don't get me wrong. Kim K is hot and I applaud her for how amazing she looks after giving birth to North, but the video just freaks me out a little...Sorry Kanye! I am a HUGE Kanye West fan and I really love this song. Sorry not sorry!
This is hands down one of my favourite songs in the world, if I'm feeling a bit down and need a good cry I listen to this song. So take note girls!
I'd go as far as saying this is one of my favourite songs ever, I never EVER get bored of it. It makes me soemotional and so happy at the same time, I just love it too much to even describe. The middle East are a fantastic band and everyone should check them out!
Keaton Henson is just breath-taking and this is probably my favourite song because the lyrics are so beautiful and his voice just melts my soul.
This song, just makes me sing at the top of my lungs. It's so damn catchy and I find myself basically screaming without even realizing, which is hugely embarrassing but it's such a tune that I feel less shameful about partying to it.
I want to share so much more music with you all, but I will probably end up boring you all to death so instead I will leave you with one of my favourite bands; Kodaline. Kodaline are flawless, they make me feel emotions I didn't know were possible or were even still inside me. Plus they are all male and all Irish, WHATS NOT TO LOVE?! Their music is stunning, I cannot even describe how wonderful their music is and their music videos, oh my god. I swear on my life, they have made me cry. If you like them check out the videos for "All I want part 1" and "All I want part 2" those videos make me sob.
I'm sorry if this post has bored you, but I love music and I love sharing it with others who love music! If you actually enjoyed this type of post let me know and I'll do them more, because I certainly enjoy them,
