November was a super good, but super hectic month. It is also a month that I didn't instagram a lot apparently, but hey ho what can you do! The first photo is from a night out that I had with all the people I work with, I was absolutely fine sticking to my wine but then I saw everyone else with nice cocktails and decided to try one. They had run out of vodka and they only spirit they had was gin? It was also a cocktail of gin, some sort of fruit liqueur, ice and fruits. So no mixers and gin, WHAT MADE ME DECIDE THIS WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. It absolutely wasn't and I spent the next day paying for it (drinking is bad). I decided that as I had a bit of money left over I wanted to take myself and Adam out for dinner and I'm so glad that I did because look at that little face so happy and full of olives. I also had a super cute catch-up with my little frasmine in November, she's become an adult and gone off to uni and I miss her a lot so when she comes back we do cute things like drink costa and talk for 12 hours. Lastly, I obviously went to the Christmas market in Bury St Edmunds with my parents and Adam which was lovely and that is also the photo I use for blogmas (sneaky sneak).

I hope you had a good November and have an even better December. I'm not sure whether to start this from #1 in January because I'll feel weird if I don't even though I'm not at 12.You'll all find out by January!

Well this month has been pretty crap up until the end. Unfortunately our family lost a very special lady and getting to see her one last time will always mean a huge amount to me, I will never forget her. I've also not felt like myself recently, I've been very low and anxious and it isn't very nice for people to be around and I get very angry with myself when I'm like it. I'm hoping to pick up soon, I'm trying my hardest. I've considered writing a post about it, but it's extremely personal and I'm not sure of the reaction I would get.

Anyway, the first photo is a quote I found this month that has really stuck with me and helped me in my really hard days. I think it's so true and it actually made me feel a bit emotional when I first read it, I think it will be something that sticks with me for a long time because it's just so beautiful. One bit of advice I'd give to people feeling really low that I find works for me, is find a poem, a piece of literature or a quote that sums up how you feel but also gives you strength. Then when you feel low, read it and remember you can do it.

The next two are from a wedding I went to with my boyfriend, this wedding was so beautiful and there wasn't one thing I didn't like. I literally said to Adam that there were so many aspects that I'd always visioned for my own wedding if I had one and they were right there in front of me, it was very surreal. It was a beautiful night in general and look at those table settings, I was seriously contemplating stealing it (sorry to the couple, I didn't!).

This month I had two birthdays for two very special people in my life; one was probably my closest friend and partner in crime (the apple of my eye) Lady Frasmine and the other was my wonderful boyfriend Adam. Now because Adam already has his photo in the collage, I thought I'd use this little masterpiece of myself and Jas, which I'm sure she won't mind at all. I unfortunately didn't get to see her but I still hope she had a fabulous day. After months of planning presents for Adam's birthday it was finally over and I think I actually did well because he seemed like he'd had a genuinely good day which made me very very happy.

And lastly, as you all know I reached 75 followers on my bloglovin blog page. Wahoooooooo *breaks into jazzy musical number* I'm not going to talk about this too much as I already did a post on this, but yeah thanks to you all and luv u xoxoxo

I hope you all had a great month

I'm not an overly exciting person, I do the occasional fun thing but my life is pretty simple and full of routine. However, I want to try and include more lifestyle posts on my blog as I always find them really fun and interesting to read. So I thought I'd start out by writing about a new place I went for lunch at the weekend. 

On Saturday Adam and myself went out into Bury which is a beautiful little town in Suffolk, and just had a bit of a browse around the shops and the town in general. We had to leave fairly sharpish in the morning so we hadn't had any breakfast and it got to about lunchtime and I was starting to feel very light-headed, we decided we wanted to go somewhere we haven't tried before. I've been to a lovely cafe before that did some great coffee and pancakes and so we went on a hunt for that place; although I had no other knowledge than the pancakes. In the end we decided on Prezzo; on their website they say 'At Prezzo we serve great tasting Italian food in comfortable, contemporary and stylish surroundings'. As soon as we walked in we were seated straight away, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful it was set out I felt completely comfortable and at ease. The first thing I said was "This is definitely my sort of place" it just feels very homely with all the wood and stone work. There was also a lot of natural lighting which was perfect as it was a lovely sunny warm day. 

I adore Italian food its just such good comforting food and its something I just want to keep eating and eating. We decided that we would skip the starter and get a main and then just see how we felt afterwards, I decided to go for king prawn risotto with oak roasted smoke salmon and leaks with a saffron sauce. It was absolutely delicious, I'm always a bit indifferent about salmon as I've had it sometimes and really not enjoyed it. However, this was amazing and the prawns were some of the best cooked prawns I've ever had. The only thing I'd have as a slight niggle was that it was quite large and as it is so creamy I had to stop before I exploded, I still loved it nonetheless. Adam had grilled chicken with calabrese sausage, chillies, peppers, red onion, spinach and cherry tomatoes and a side salad. I think I would have liked to have had this instead because it was less heavy than mine but the chicken was also cooked absolutely perfectly. 

We always look at the puddings but we are always so full that we just can't eat anymore. We decided to look as per usual and I'm so glad we did because this time we HAD to get one, it was amazing and even better than the main!

How is it already coming up for June ?! I just don't understand how this month is going so quick, however may has definitely been one of my favourite months this year so far. I've had so much to do this month and have actually been a proper little social butterfly which is super impressive for me... I've gotten a load of different photos from this month, but I've also done certain things and not managed to get photos as well. Anyway here are just a few photos!

Hi my name's Ashleigh, and I'm an Instagram addict. I'm kidding obviously (or am I...) but I've always thought that its really sweet when you get bloggers who do little monthly updates of their lives through the photos they've taken. I post quite a lot on IG, but I've never felt any of the photo's I've taken are particularly note-worthy. This month however I have taken quite a few and so I thought why not give this post a go and see if I can keep it going, simply because I just think it's a really sweet and fun idea. These aren't in order, so I'm sorry, but I'll explain them in order of date just so it makes a bit more sense!

At the beginning of this month I went with my friend Zach to Essex university to visit our other friend Sean. With both of them being at different universities and myself working full time, we don't get to see each other a lot and so it was so fab to be able to spend the night drinking, dancing and just having fun with them. I definitely miss them both a lot *queue sad music* anyway I'm going to stop before I have them both read this and mock me for being soppy.

Second is the photo of the sunrise, I live in the middle of the countryside and I have to walk to my bus stop pretty early in the morning and this sunrise was so beautiful and had amazing colours so I thought a cheeky snap wouldn't hurt!
The next photo is of the little horse, which is the Chinese zodiac of 2014. The reason I took a photo of it is because I found it's eyes really funny and big, I'm quite clearly more of a child then I let on. This was a night I went out to try a Chinese all you can eat restaurant and the food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The next photo is of my lovely valentines card. I didn't receive any this year and it's probably one of the first years I've been single for valentines day in a while, which I'm totally okay with but also slightly passive- aggressive towards which I have no shame for. I got this from someone I work with and it made laugh so much because it was done on a post-it note and took about 30 seconds, if that isn't adorable I don't know what is. The day after I went and spent the day in Norwich, which was great because although I've only been a few times I just love the place and think its beautiful and awesome. I also got to try my first wagamama's which I was slightly apprehensive about as me and spicy food are not exactly friends so I was worried I'd have to force myself to eat some spicy food and die inside. However, I got this lovely chicken and noodle dish which I really enjoyed.

The last two photo's are from a night that I spent with my closest friend Frasmine. We haven't seen each other in a few months, but as soon as we're back together it's like nothing has changed and we're exactly the same as we use to be. We spent the night chatting, wearing face masks and watching keeping up with the Kardashian's (we cry all the time because we don't look like Kardashian's) and the last photo is of the extremely funky PJ bottom's I had to buy because in my tired state I forgot to pack some pajamas and Jasmine told me I HAD to buy these bottoms because they made us laugh so much. I'm glad I did because oh my gosh are they comfy!

So that's my month! I know there is still a week left, but I haven't got a whole lot planned in that time and as I've been a bad blogger recently I felt a post was in order. I'm going to try and do this monthly, if I can carry on taking photos at the rate I did this month! Did you enjoy this kind of post? Let me know!
